DESCRIPTION
The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) via the CAN communication system.
The yaw rate sensor has a built-in airbag sensor assembly and detects the vehicle's condition using 2 circuits (GL1, GL2).
If there is trouble in the bus lines between the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) and the CAN communication system, DTCs U0123 (malfunction in CAN communication with the yaw rate sensor) and U0124 (malfunction in CAN communication with the acceleration sensor) are stored.
These DTCs are also stored when calibration is not completed.
| DTC Code | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area |
|---|---|---|
| C1419 | A data malfunction signal is received from the acceleration sensor. | Yaw rate and acceleration sensor (Airbag sensor assembly) |
| C1435 | A data malfunction signal is received from the yaw rate sensor. | Yaw rate and acceleration sensor (Airbag sensor assembly) |
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
Note
When replacing the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly), perform calibration Click here.
Tech Tips
When DTC U0123, U0124 and/or U0126 is output together with DTC C1419 and/or C1435, inspect and repair the trouble areas indicated by DTC U0123, U0124 and/or U0126 first Click here.
PROCEDURE
REPLACE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY
Replace the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) Click here.
Note
Check the yaw rate and acceleration sensor signal after replacement Click here.
