VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM(for Vacuum Brake Booster), Diagnostic DTC:C1210, C1336

DTC Code DTC Name
C1210 Zero Point Calibration of Yaw Rate Sensor Undone
C1336 Zero Point Calibration of Acceleration Sensor Undone

DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) via the CAN communication system.

The yaw rate sensor has a built-in airbag sensor assembly and detects the vehicle's condition using 2 circuits (GL1, GL2). If there is trouble in the bus lines between the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) and the CAN communication system, DTCs U0123 (yaw rate sensor communication trouble) and U0124 (acceleration sensor communication trouble) are stored.

The DTCs are also stored when calibration has not been completed.

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1210 Zero point calibration of the yaw rate sensor is incomplete.
  • Yaw rate and sensor (Airbag sensor assembly)

  • Skid control ECU (Brake actuator assembly)

C1336 Zero point calibration of the acceleration sensor is incomplete.
  • Acceleration sensor (Airbag sensor assembly)

  • Skid control ECU (Brake actuator assembly)

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note

When replacing the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) and/or yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly), perform calibration Click here.

Tech Tips

When DTC U0123, U0124 and/or U0126 is output along with DTC C1210 and/or C1336, inspect and repair trouble areas indicated by DTC U0123, U0124 and/or U0126 first Click here.

PROCEDURE
