Tech Tips
Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
PROCEDURE
REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
REMOVE LOWER FRONT BUMPER COVER
REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER END BRACKET (w/ KDSS)
REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR (w/ KDSS)
DISCONNECT FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH (w/o KDSS)
Remove the nut and disconnect the stabilizer link from the steering knuckle.
Tech Tips
If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud.
DISCONNECT FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH (w/o KDSS)
Tech Tips
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH (w/o KDSS)
REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH (w/o KDSS)
REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR (w/o KDSS)
REMOVE FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING (w/ Air Suspension)
Detach the 3 clamps and disconnect the connector.
Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 bolts and absorber control actuator.
Using SST, remove the nut and bracket.
Remove the bolt, nut and washer.
Remove the 3 nuts on the top of the front shock absorber with coil spring.
Remove the front shock absorber with coil spring.
REMOVE FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING (w/o Air Suspension)
Remove the bolt, nut and washer.
Remove the 3 nuts on the top of the front shock absorber with coil spring.
Remove the front shock absorber with coil spring.
