PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (HEIGHT CONTROL SWITCH)

      Component without harness connected

      (Combination Switch Assembly (Height Control Switch))

      Measure the resistance according to the values in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      7 (LO) - 24 (E) "Down" pressed Below 1 Ω
      "Up" pressed 10 kΩ or higher
      6 (HI) - 24 (E) "Down" pressed 10 kΩ or higher
      "Up" pressed Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly (height control switch).

      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Combination Switch Assembly (Height Control Switch))

      Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the illumination conditions.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 13 (ILL+)

      Battery negative (-) → 12 (ILL-)

      		 Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly (height control switch).
