PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (HEIGHT CONTROL OFF SWITCH)

      Component without harness connected

      (Combination Switch Assembly (Height Control OFF Switch))

      Measure the resistance according to the values in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      5 (N) - 24 (E) Height control OFF switch pressed Below 1 Ω
      Height control OFF switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly (height control OFF switch).

      Component without harness connected

      (Combination Switch Assembly (Height Control OFF Switch))

      Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the illumination conditions.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 13 (ILL+)

      Battery negative (-) → 12 (ILL-)

      		 Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly (height control OFF switch).
