PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT ABSORBER CONTROL SWITCH (SUSPENSION CONTROL SWITCH)

      Component without harness connected

      (Absorber Control Switch (Suspension Control Switch))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      2 (COMF) - 5 (GND) COMFORT position Below 1 Ω
      Normal position 10 kΩ or higher
      8 (SPORT) - 5 (GND) SPORT position Below 1 Ω
      Normal position 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the absorber control switch (suspension control switch).

      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Absorber Control Switch (Suspension Control Switch))

      Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the illumination conditions.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 1 (ILL+)

      Battery negative (-) → 10 (ILL-)

      		 Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the absorber control switch (suspension control switch).
