AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM REGISTRATION

Note


  • If the suspension control ECU is replaced with a new one, perform registration of vehicle identification information.

  • Vehicle identification information is obtained automatically through CAN communication when in test mode.

PROCEDURE


  1. REGISTRATION OF VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the ignition switch ON.

    4. Turn the GTS on.

    5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Air suspension / Utility / Signal Check.

    6. Check the display of the multi-information display and confirm that the system is in test mode.

      Tech Tips


      • When the vehicle identification information is stored, the multi-information display indicates that the system is in test mode.

      • When vehicle identification information is not stored, the height control OFF indicator blinks at 1 second intervals (1 second on and 1 second off).

    7. Read the test mode DTCs by following the prompts on the GTS screen.

    8. End test mode by following the prompts on the GTS screen.

    9. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Air suspension / Data List.

      Learning status of stop and start setting availability after vehicle identification information registration is performed/

      Unset, OFF or ON

      OFF When "Unset", DTC C1789 is output.
      OK
      The display is as specified in the normal condition column.
    10. Turn the ignition switch off and disconnect the GTS from the DLC3.
