PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (REAR DIFFERENTIAL LOCK CONTROL SWITCH)

      Component without harness connected

      Combination Switch Assembly (Rear Differential Lock Control Switch)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      5 (B) - 2 (E) ON Below 1 Ω
      OFF 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly (rear differential lock control switch).

      Component without harness connected

      Combination Switch Assembly (Rear Differential Lock Control Switch)

      Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the switch, and check the illumination condition of the combination switch assembly (rear differential lock control switch).

      Standard
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 6 (ILL+)

      Battery negative (-) → 1 (ILL-)

      		 Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly (rear differential lock control switch).
