DESCRIPTION
The 4 wheel drive control ECU records DTCs when the ECU detects a malfunction in the ECU itself or in system circuits.
The DTCs can be read through the DLC3 of the vehicle. When the system seems to be malfunctioning, use the GTS to check for malfunctions and perform troubleshooting.
CHECK DLC3
Inspect the battery voltage.
If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge the battery before proceeding.

FUNCTION OF INDICATOR LIGHT
When a malfunction occurs in the transfer system, the 4LO indicator light rapidly blinks and the center differential lock indicator light rapidly blinks to inform the user of the malfunction.
Rapidly blinking: Blinks at 0.25 second intervals (0.25 seconds on and 0.25 seconds off)
The illumination state of the indicator lights and sounding state of the buzzers when a DTC is output.
