COUNTER GEAR REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL COUNTER GEAR FRONT BEARING

   
   

   1. 

      Using SST and a press, install the front bearing to the counter gear.

      SST

      09515-10010

      Note

      Install the front bearing so that the snap ring groove of the bearing faces the front side.

2. INSTALL NO. 2 COUNTER GEAR FRONT BEARING SNAP RING

   
   

   1. Select a snap ring that makes the clearance between the counter gear and snap ring to be within the specification.

      Standard clearance
      0.10 mm (0.00394 in.) or less

      Snap Ring Thickness
      Thickness 2.10 mm (0.0827 in.) 2.15 mm (0.0846 in.) 2.20 mm (0.0866 in.) 2.25 mm (0.0886 in.) 2.30 mm (0.0906 in.) 2.35 mm (0.0925 in.)

   2. 

      Using a snap ring expander, install the snap ring.
