CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER(for 2TR-FE) REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL RELEASE CYLINDER BLEEDER PLUG


    1. Install the bleeder plug to the cylinder body.

      Torque:
      11 N*m  { 110 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER KIT


    1. Install 2 new cylinder cups to a new piston.

    2. Install a new spring to the piston.

      *1 Lithium soap base glycol grease

      Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to the portions indicated by the arrows in the illustration.

    4. Install the piston (with the spring) to the cylinder body.

      Note

      Do not damage the inside of the cylinder body.

    5. Install the push rod to a new boot.

    6. Install the boot (with the push rod) to the cylinder body.
