CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER(for RHD) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY


    1. except 1GD-FTV:


      1. Install a new gasket.

    2. for 1GD-FTV:


      1. Install a new gasket and clutch master cylinder bracket.

    3. Install the clutch master cylinder with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      14 N*m  { 145 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }
    4. A01XG8YE01

      *1 MP grease

      Apply MP grease to the contact surfaces of the pin and clevis bush.

    5. Connect the clevis to the clutch pedal with the pin.

    6. Install a new clip to the pin.

  2. CONNECT FLEXIBLE HOSE TUBE


    1. Using a union nut wrench, connect the flexible hose tube.

      Torque:
      14 N*m  { 145 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER HEAT INSULATOR (for 1GD-FTV)


    1. Install the clutch master cylinder heat insulator with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      15 N*m  { 50 kgf*cm, 43 ft.*lbf }

  4. FILL RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID

  5. BLEED CLUTCH LINE

    Click here

  6. CHECK FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR

    Click here

  7. CHECK FOR BRAKE FLUID LEAK FROM CLUTCH LINE

  8. INSPECT AND ADJUST CLUTCH PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY
