MANUAL TRANSMISSION OIL REPLACEMENT

PROCEDURE


  1. DRAIN MANUAL TRANSMISSION OIL


    1. A01XFQP

      Remove the drain plug and gasket, and then drain the manual transmission oil.

    2. A01XJ2B

      Remove the filler plug and gasket.

    3. Install a new gasket and the drain plug.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

  2. ADD MANUAL TRANSMISSION OIL

  3. INSPECT MANUAL TRANSMISSION OIL


    1. Stop the vehicle on a level surface.

    2. B001D8PE75
      *1 0 to 5.0 mm

      Check that the oil level is between 0 and 5 mm (0 and 0.196 in.) from the bottom lip of the filler plug opening.

      Note


      • Problems may occur when the oil level is too high or low.

      • After replacing the oil, drive the vehicle and check the oil level again.

    3. Inspect for oil leaks when the oil level is low.

      Install a new gasket and the filler plug.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }
