  1. INSPECT CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    Component without harness connected

    (Clutch Start Switch Assembly)
    *b On: 7.65 to 8.35 mm (0.302 to 0.328 in.)
    *c Off: 1.65 to 2.35 mm (0.0650 to 0.0925 in.)

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 On (Pushed) Below 1 Ω
      1 - 2 Off (Not pushed) 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the clutch start switch assembly.
