TCM REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Knee Airbag)

    Note


    • After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  2. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH (for LHD)

  3. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH (for RHD)

  4. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH (for LHD)

    Click here

  5. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH (for RHD)

    Click here

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH (for LHD)

  9. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ORNAMENT (for LHD)

  14. REMOVE TCM

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and TCM.
