DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) controls the operation of the following lights:

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS


    1. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 2 INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LIGHT SUB-ASSEMBLY [FOOTWELL LIGHT] - BATTERY)

      (to No. 2 Interior Illumination Light Sub-assembly [Footwell Light])

      Disconnect the No. 2 interior illumination light sub-assembly LH (footwell light LH) connector.

    2. Disconnect the No. 2 interior illumination light sub-assembly RH (footwell light RH) connector.

    3. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / MainBody / Active Test / Control the DOME Relay.

      OFF: DOME relay on (interior lights turn on)

      ON: DOME relay off (interior lights turn off)

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 2 INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LIGHT SUB-ASSEMBLY [FOOTWELL LIGHT] - DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the G204 No. 2 interior illumination light sub-assembly LH (footwell light LH) connector.

    2. Disconnect the G203 No. 2 interior illumination light sub-assembly RH (footwell light RH) connector.

    3. Disconnect the 2N driver side junction block assembly connector.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G204-1 (L) - 2N-24 Always Below 1 Ω
      G203-1 (L) - 2N-24 Always Below 1 Ω
      G204-1 (L) or 2N-24 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G203-1 (L) or 2N-24 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  4. CHECK DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY

      Remove the driver side junction block assembly.

    2. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the driver side junction block assembly.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
