DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) detects the condition of the door courtesy light switch assembly.

  1. READ VALUE USING GTS


    1. Using the GTS, read the Data List.

    1. Disconnect the G218 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.

    2. Disconnect the Q8 front door courtesy light switch assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G218-27 (FRCY) - Q8-1 Always Below 1 Ω
      G218-27 (FRCY) or Q8-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. Disconnect the G218 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.

    2. Disconnect the R7 front door courtesy light switch assembly LH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      G218-6 (FLCY) - R7-1 Always Below 1 Ω
      G218-6 (FLCY) or R7-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. Disconnect the 2N*1 or 2P*2 driver side junction block assembly connector.


      • *1: for LHD

      • *2: for RHD

    2. Disconnect the Q9 rear door courtesy light switch assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for LHD

      2N-30 - Q9-1 Always Below 1 Ω
      2N-30 or Q9-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
