LIGHTING SYSTEM(for 5L-E) CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS


  1. CUSTOMIZE LIGHTING SYSTEM (INT)

    Note


    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.

    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.

    Tech Tips

    The following items can be customized.


    1. Customizing with the GTS


      1. Turn the ignition switch off.

      2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

      3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      4. Turn the GTS on.

      5. Enter the following menus: Utility / Customize / Illuminated Entry.

      6. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Lighting Time 15 s

        Changes the lighting time of the following lights that are operated by the timer function when the DOOR switch of the map light assembly, No. 1 room light assembly and No. 2 room light assembly is on:


        • Map light assembly

        • Transponder key coil

        • No. 1 room light assembly

        • No. 2 room light assembly

        		 30 s, 15 s or 7.5 s Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)
        I/L when ACC OFF ON

        Turns off the following lights automatically when the DOOR switch of the map light assembly, No. 1 room light assembly and No. 2 room light assembly is on and the ignition switch is turned from ON or ACC to off:


        • Map light assembly

        • Transponder key coil

        • No. 1 room light assembly

        • No. 2 room light assembly

        		 OFF or ON Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)
        I/L ON W/Door Key Unlock ON

        Turns on the following lights automatically when the DOOR switch of the map light assembly, No. 1 room light assembly and No. 2 room light assembly is on and the doors are unlocked by an unlock operation (key-linked or wireless):


        • Map light assembly

        • Transponder key coil

        • No. 1 room light assembly

        • No. 2 room light assembly

        		 OFF or ON Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)
        Interior Light Control ON

        This function controls the interior lights.


        • Map light assembly

        • Transponder key coil

        • No. 1 room light assembly

        • No. 2 room light assembly

        		 OFF or ON Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)

    2. Customizing using the Multi-display


      1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      2. Enter the following menus: MENU / Setup / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Lights Settings.

      3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Light Settings

        Interior Light Off Timer 15 sec.

        Changes the lighting time of the following lights that are operated by the timer function when the DOOR switch of the map light assembly, No. 1 room light assembly and No. 2 room light assembly is on:


        • Map light assembly

        • Transponder key coil

        • No. 1 room light assembly

        • No. 2 room light assembly

        		 Off, 15 sec., 7.5 sec. or 30 sec. Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)
