      (Hood Lock Assembly (Engine Hood Courtesy Switch))
      *b Lock Position
      *c Unlock Position

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 (+) - 4 (E) Unlock position Below 1 Ω
      1 (+) - 4 (E) Lock position 10 kΩ or higher
      2 (HWM+) - 3 (HWM-) Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the hood lock assembly.
