DESCRIPTION

If the communication line (EFIO-IMI) to the ID code box is stuck on HI output, the ECM stores this DTC.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ID CODE BOX - ECM)


    1. Disconnect the G37 ID code box (immobiliser code ECU) connector.

    2. Disconnect the G56*1, G58*2, G181*3 or G185*4 ECM connector.


      • *1: for 1GR-FE

      • *2: for 1KD-FTV

      • *3: for 2TR-FE

      • *4: for 1GD-FTV

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      for 1GR-FE (for Automatic Transmission)

      G37-6 (EFIO) - G56-10 (IMI) Always Below 1 Ω

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
