PROCEDURE
REMOVE TRANSMITTER HOUSING COVER (except Separate Type)

Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, pry apart the transmitter housing cover.
Note
Do not use excessive force when prying apart the housing cover.
Remove the transmitter housing cover while the switches face downward to prevent the switch knob from falling.
REMOVE DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER MODULE SET (except Separate Type)
Remove the door control transmitter module set.
Note
When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the electrical transmitter from being damaged.
REMOVE TRANSMITTER BATTERY (except Separate Type)
Twist a coin in the direction of the arrow in the illustration and detach the 7 claws to remove the transmitter battery cover.
Note
When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the door control transmitter module set from being damaged.
Remove the transmitter battery (lithium battery: CR2016).
Note
When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the door control transmitter module set from being damaged.
Do not push the terminals with your finger.
Do not forcibly pry up the transmitter battery as the terminals may be damaged.
Do not touch the transmitter battery with wet hands. Water may cause it to rust.
Do not touch or move any components inside the transmitter as this may interfere with its proper operation.
