FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE


    1. Discharge the fuel system pressure Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note


    • After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK


    1. Remove the intake air surge tank Click here.

  4. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER ASSEMBLY

      Remove the fuel pressure regulator holder.

    2. Pull the fuel pressure pulsation damper out of the fuel delivery pipe.

    3. Remove the O-ring from the fuel pressure pulsation damper.
