FUEL INJECTOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK


    1. Remove the intake air surge tank Click here.

  2. REMOVE REAR CYLINDER HEAD COVER

      Remove the 3 bolts and cover.

  3. DISCONNECT NO. 1 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01XFP6

      Disconnect the No. 1 fuel pipe sub-assembly Click here.

  4. DISCONNECT NO. 2 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01XKOG

      Disconnect the No. 2 fuel pipe sub-assembly Click here.

  5. REMOVE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01XIW1

      Disconnect the 6 fuel injector connectors.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts and fuel delivery pipe together with the 6 fuel injectors.

      Note

      Be careful not to drop the injectors when removing the fuel delivery pipe.

  6. REMOVE FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 6 fuel injectors from the fuel delivery pipe.

    2. Remove the O-ring and injector vibration insulator from each fuel injector.
