ACCELERATOR PEDAL INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL ACCELERATOR PEDAL SENSOR ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission)

   Note

   
   

   • This accelerator pedal does not require lubrication.

     Do not apply oil or other lubrication to the accelerator pedal sensor assembly.

     If applied, the accelerator pedal sensor assembly must be replaced.

   • Prevent physical shocks to the accelerator pedal sensor assembly.

   • Do not disassemble the accelerator pedal sensor assembly.

   
   

   1. Install the accelerator pedal sensor assembly with the 3 nuts.

      Torque:

      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

   2. Connect the accelerator pedal connector.

2. INSTALL ACCELERATOR PEDAL SENSOR ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)

   Note

   
   

   • This accelerator pedal does not require lubrication.

     Do not apply oil or other lubrication to the accelerator pedal sensor assembly.

     If applied, the accelerator pedal sensor assembly must be replaced.

   • Prevent physical shocks to the accelerator pedal sensor assembly.

   • Do not disassemble the accelerator pedal sensor assembly.

   
   

   1. Install the accelerator pedal sensor assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:

      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

   2. Connect the accelerator pedal connector.

3. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX INSERT

   Click here

4. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Attach the 2 clips and 2 guides to install the No. 1 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly.

   2. Install the screw to the No. 1 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly.
