ENGINE OIL COOLER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install 2 new gaskets to the oil cooler.

   2. Install the oil cooler to the oil cooler cover with the 4 nuts.

      Torque:

      16 N*m  { 163 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf }

2. INSTALL OIL COOLER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install a new gasket and the oil cooler cover with the 13 bolts.

      Torque:

      13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

   2. Connect the No. 2 vacuum transmitting pipe with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:

      13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

   3. Connect the vinyl tube.

   4. Connect the oil pressure switch connector.

3. INSTALL OIL FILTER SUB-ASSEMBLY

4. CONNECT NO. 3 WATER BY-PASS HOSE (w/ EGR Cooler)

   
   

   1. Connect the No. 3 water by-pass hose.

5. INSTALL VACUUM CONTROL VALVE SET

6. INSTALL SUPPLY PUMP ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the supply pump Click here.

7. INSTALL COMMON RAIL ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the common rail Click here.

8. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. for 2.2 kW Type:

      Install the starter Click here.

   2. for 2.7 kW Type:

      Install the starter Click here.

   3. for 3.0 kW Type:

      Install the starter Click here.

9. ADD ENGINE OIL

   Click here

10. BLEED AIR FROM FUEL SYSTEM

    Click here

11. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

12. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK

    Click here

13. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK

    Click here

14. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK

15. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

16. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER LOWER COVER

    Click here
