EGR BYPASS VALVE SWITCHING VALVE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE VACUUM CONTROL VALVE SET


    1. A01XIVA

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the engine wire bracket.

    2. Disconnect the connector from the vacuum control valve set.

    3. A01XEQA

      Disconnect the 2 vacuum hoses from the No. 2 vacuum transmitting pipe sub-assembly and No. 2 EGR valve assembly.

    4. A01XIBH

      Remove the 2 bolts and vacuum control valve set from the intake manifold.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY


    1. A01XEAZ

      Disconnect the vacuum hose from the No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly.

    2. A01XENU

      Remove the screw and No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly from the bracket.
