OIL LEVEL SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR

   
   

   1. Install the engine oil level sensor to the oil level sensor bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

   2. Attach the clamp to the oil level sensor brecket.

   3. Install the 2 stud bolts to the oil pan sub-assembly.

      Torque:

      6.0 N*m  { 61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf }

   4. Install the oil level sensor bracket with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:

      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

   5. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the engine oil level sensor.

   6. Install a new clip to the engine oil level sensor.

   7. Connect the engine oil level sensor connector.

2. INSTALL NO. 2 OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY

3. INSTALL WIRING HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET (w/ Urea SCR System)

   
   

   1. Install the wiring harness clamp bracket with the bolt.

      Torque:

      12.8 N*m  { 131 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

   2. Attach the 3 clamps to connect the wire harness.

4. ADD ENGINE OIL

5. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK

   Click here

6. INSPECT ENGINE OIL LEVEL

7. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY
