FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

      Remove the 9 clips and cool air intake duct seal.

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

      Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

      Remove the 7 screws.

      *1 Pin Hold Clip
      *a 90°

      Using a screwdriver, turn the pins 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    4. Remove the clip.

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 3 claws as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    6. w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System:


      1. Pull back the side of the front bumper assembly and disconnect the 2 No. 1 ultrasonic sensor connectors.

        Note

        Do not apply excessive force when pulling back the front bumper assembly.

    7. Pull back the side of the front bumper assembly and disconnect the 2 front turn signal light connectors.

      Note

      Do not apply excessive force when separating the front bumper assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

      Using a clip remover, remove the clip and 2 hood center cushions.

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    10. A01I4WJ

      Remove the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.
