LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  • The following procedure is for the LH side.


  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER

      Remove the 13 clips and luggage compartment door cover.

  2. REMOVE UPPER BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH MOULDING

      *a Protective Tape

      Apply protective tape around the upper back door outside garnish moulding.

    2. Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 3 claws to remove the upper back door outside garnish moulding.

  3. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the license plate light assembly.

  4. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT BULB

      *1 Protective Tape
      *a Insert into the hole

      Insert a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape into the license plate light lens hole, tilt it in the direction shown in the illustration and disengage the 2 claws to remove the license plate light lens.

      Remove the license plate light bulb.
