POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM Rear Power Window RH does not Operate with Rear Power Window Switch RH

DESCRIPTION

When the power switch is on (IG), the power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH door) is operated by the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note


  • Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

  • Check that the window lock switch is off before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR RH DOOR) - AUXILIARY BATTERY)


    1. Disconnect the L6 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L6-2 (B) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

    NG

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  2. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR RH DOOR)


    1. Remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door) Click here.

    2. Inspect the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door) Click here.

    REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR RH DOOR) Click here

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR RH DOOR) - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (FOR REAR RH DOOR))


    1. Disconnect the L5 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH door) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L6-7 (U) - L5-2 (U) Always Below 1 Ω
      L6-7 (U) or L5-2 (U) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L6-1 (D) - L5-1 (D) Always Below 1 Ω
      L6-1 (D) or L5-1 (D) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  4. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the power window regulator master switch assembly Click here.

    2. Inspect the power window regulator master switch assembly Click here.

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY - REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR RH DOOR)


    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K11-10 (RRU) - L6-3 (SU) Always Below 1 Ω
      K11-10 (RRU) or L6-3 (SU) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      K11-16 (RRD) - L6-4 (SD) Always Below 1 Ω
      K11-16 (RRD) or L6-4 (SD) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
