ECO SWITCH INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT ECO MODE SWITCH (ECO SWITCH ASSEMBLY)

      Component without harness connected

      (ECO Mode Switch (Eco Switch Assembly))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      I49-4 (ECU) - I49-1 (E)

      ECO mode switch (eco switch assembly) off

      (when switch is not pressed)

      		 10 kΩ or higher
      I49-4 (ECU) - I49-1 (E)

      ECO mode switch (eco switch assembly) on

      (when switch is pressed)

      		 Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the ECO mode switch (eco switch assembly).

    2. Check that the switch illuminates.


      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the ECO mode switch (eco switch assembly) and check that the switch illuminates.

        OK
        Tester Connection Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (ILL+)

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 2 (ILL-)

        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the ECO mode switch (eco switch assembly).
