  1. INSPECT PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM CANCEL SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Check the pre-collision system cancel switch assembly.

        (Pre-collision System Cancel Switch Assembly)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 4 Not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
        1 - 4 Pushed Below 1 Ω

    2. Check the switch illumination and indicator.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the pre-collision system cancel switch assembly and check that the switch illumination and each indicator come on.

        OK
        Battery Connection Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → 3

        Battery positive (-) → 2

        		 Switch illumination comes on
