| DTC Code | DTC Name |
|---|---|
| U0125 | Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module |
| U0126 | Lost Communication with Steering Angle Sensor Module |
| U0129 | Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module |
| U0142 | Lost Communication with Body Control Module "B" |
| U0293 | Lost Communication with Hybrid Control Module |
| U1104 | Lost Communication with Driving Support ECU |
DESCRIPTION
The driving support ECU assembly uses the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly to detect obstacles in front of the vehicle.
Based on this information, the driving support ECU assembly sends pre-collision control operation signals. These DTCs are stored when a communication malfunction occurs between the sensors and ECUs that detect crashes, or between ECUs that perform the pre-collision control.
| DTC No. | Detection Item | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area |
|---|---|---|---|
| U0125 | Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module | When the power switch is on (IG), a communication error between the airbag sensor assembly (yaw rate sensor) and the driving support ECU assembly is detected for approximately 0.736 seconds. |
|
| U0126 | Lost Communication with Steering Angle Sensor Module | When the power switch is on (IG), a communication error between the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly (steering angle sensor) and the driving support ECU assembly is detected for approximately 0.736 seconds. |
|
| U0129 | Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module | When the power switch is on (IG), a communication error between the skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) and the driving support ECU assembly is detected for approximately 2.24 seconds. |
|
| U0142 | Lost Communication with Body Control Module "B" | When the power switch is on (IG), a communication error between the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and driving support ECU assembly is detected for approximately 11.2 seconds. |
|
| U0293 | Lost Communication with Hybrid Control Module | When the power switch is on (IG), a communication error between power management control ECU and driving support ECU assembly or skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) is detected for approximately 0.76 seconds. |
|
| U1104 | Lost Communication with Driving Support ECU | When the power switch is on (IG), a communication error between power management control ECU and driving support ECU assembly or skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) is detected for approximately 0.76 seconds. |

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
CHECK FOR DTC (PRE-COLLISION 2)
Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
Turn the power switch on (IG).
Clear the DTCs Click here.
Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Codes.
Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.
Tech Tips
If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
Check for DTCs.
