TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM TC and CG Terminal Circuit

DESCRIPTION

DTC output mode is set by connecting terminals 13 (TC) and 4 (CG) of the DLC3. The DTCs are indicated by the blinking of the tire pressure warning light.

  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Check if a CAN communication system DTC is output Click here.

  2. CHECK DTC (C2179/79)

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TC of DLC3 - ECM AND POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU)


    1. Disconnect the A25 ECM connector.

    2. Disconnect the I4 power management control ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I39-13 (TC) - A25-23 (TC) Always Below 1 Ω
      I39-13 (TC) - I4-8 (TC) Always Below 1 Ω
      I39-13 (TC), A25-23 (TC) or I4-8 (TC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
