      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tester Connection Shift Lever Position Specified Condition
      8 (+B) - 1 (D) D Below 1 Ω
      Except D 10 kΩ or higher
      8 (+B) - 2 (N) N Below 1 Ω
      Except N 4.2 to 5.2 kΩ
      8 (+B) - 3 (P) P Below 1 Ω
      Except P 10 kΩ or higher
      8 (+B) - 4 (R) R Below 1 Ω
      Except R 10 kΩ or higher
      8 (+B) - 5 (MJ) ALL Below 1 Ω
      8 (+B) - 6 (FD) D or B Below 1 Ω
      Except D and B 10 kΩ or higher
      8 (+B) - 7 (B) B Below 1 Ω
      Except B 10 kΩ or higher
      8 (+B) - 9 (RV) R Below 1 Ω
      Except R 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the shift lever position sensor.
