SHIFT LEVER DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON COVER

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws to remove the shift lock release button cover from the shift position indicator.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the shift lock release button cover.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  2. REMOVE SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR

      Remove the 4 screws and shift position indicator from the rear console upper panel sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE INDICATOR LIGHT WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the shift position indicator connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp.

    3. Disengage the 5 guides to remove the indicator light wire sub-assembly from the shift position indicator.
