  3. REMOVE INPUT SHAFT TYPE T OIL SEAL

      Using a screwdriver with its tip taped, remove the input shaft type T oil seal.

      Note

      When removing the input shaft type T oil seal, make sure not to damage the input shaft or hybrid vehicle transaxle housing.

  4. INSTALL INPUT SHAFT TYPE T OIL SEAL


    1. A01I56GE01

      Coat the lip of a new input shaft type T oil seal with MP grease.

    2. Using SST and a hammer, tap in the input shaft type T oil seal.

      Oil seal installation depth
      1.0 to 1.8 mm (0.0394 to 0.0709 in.)

      Note


      • Ensure that no foreign matter adheres to the input shaft type T oil seal lip.

      • Ensure that the input shaft type T oil seal is not at an angle.
