LANE DEPARTURE ALERT SYSTEM Indicator Circuit

DESCRIPTION

When the lane departure warning camera detects a lane-keeping assist main switch signal, it sends the signal to the combination meter assembly via CAN communication. Then the lane departure alert indicator turns on.

  • When the lane departure warning camera is replaced with a new one, adjustment of the lane departure warning camera axis must be performed Click here.

  • When replacing the lane departure warning camera, always replace it with a new one. If a lane departure warning camera which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the lane departure warning camera will not match the information from the vehicle. As a result, a DTC may be stored.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (METER DISPLAY 1)


    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the Techstream on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.

    5. Perform Active Test according to the display on Techstream.

  2. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (LDA INDICATOR)


    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the Techstream on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.
