      When control is stopped momentarily, "LDA not available" is displayed in the combination meter assembly, the lane departure alert indicator turns off and a "pong" sound is heard. This occurs under the following condition:


      • A high lane departure warning camera temperature is detected.

    Tech Tips

    When the system recovers and the condition to stop lane departure alert control is not met, the lane departure alert system is operates again.

  2. STOP DUE TO SYSTEM MALFUNCTION

      When a system malfunction is detected, the lane departure alert indicator turns off, "Check LDA System" is displayed in the combination meter assembly and a "pong" sound is heard.

      Tech Tips

      After the power switch is turned off then back on (IG), the lane departure alert system operates again if the system is confirmed to be normal when the lane-keeping assist main switch is turned on.
