        *1 Pressure Gauge

Connect a pressure gauge to port A of the charcoal canister assembly.

      2. With port C and port B closed, apply 20 kPa (150 mmHg, 5.91 in.Hg) of pressurized air into port A, then confirm that pressure is retained for 1 minute.

If the result is not as specified, replace the charcoal canister assembly.

  2. INSPECT NO. 1 CHARCOAL CANISTER FILTER

    1. Visually check the No. 1 charcoal canister filter.

      1. A01I5M9

Visually check the No. 1 charcoal canister filter for cracks or damage.

If cracks or damage are found, replace the No. 1 charcoal canister filter.

    2. Check canister operation.
