HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM Pattern Select Switch Eco Mode Circuit

DESCRIPTION

When selecting ECO mode, the ECO mode switch (eco switch assembly) operation signal is sent to the air conditioning amplifier assembly. Following this, ECO mode control is activated for the heater and air conditioning system.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CAN BUS CHECK)


    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: System Select / CAN Bus Check.

      Result
      Result Proceed to
      All of the ECUs and sensors that are currently connected to the CAN communication system are displayed. A
      None of the ECUs and sensors that are currently connected to the CAN communication system are displayed, or some of them are not displayed. B
    4. Turn the power switch off.

  2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HEALTH CHECK)


    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: System Select / Health Check.

    4. Check DTCs.

      Result

      No DTCs are output. A
      DTCs are output. B
    5. Turn the power switch off.

    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List / ECO Mode.

    4. Read the value displayed on the Techstream.

    4. Read the value displayed on the Techstream.

    3. Install the ECO mode switch (eco switch assembly).

    1. Disconnect the I49 ECO mode switch (eco switch assembly) connector.

    1. Disconnect the I77 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the I49 ECO mode switch (eco switch assembly) connector.

    5. Reconnect the I77 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.
