REAR BUMPER DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

      Disengage the 4 clamps.

    2. Disconnect the 4 connectors and remove the No. 2 luggage room wire.

  2. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all ultrasonic sensor clips.

      Disengage the 4 claws to remove the ultrasonic sensor clip.

      Tech Tips

      This illustration is for the LH side. The orientation for the RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all No. 1 ultrasonic sensors.

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

      Tech Tips

      This illustration is for the LH side. The orientation for the RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainers.

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer from the rear bumper assembly.

      Tech Tips

      This illustration is for the LH side. The orientation for the RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

  5. REMOVE REAR BUMPER LOWER COVER


    1. A01HYWK

      Remove the 2 outside moulding retainers.

    2. Remove the 2 clips.

    3. Disengage the 10 claws and 2 guides, and remove the rear bumper lower cover.

  6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. A01HZTM

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 clips as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the 3 claws to remove the rear bumper side retainer LH.

  7. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  8. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH

      Remove the grommet.

    2. Remove the 2 screws.

    3. A01I1ET

      Disengage the guide and claw to remove the rear bumper side seal LH.

  9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH


    1. A01HYKH

      Remove the grommet.

    2. Remove the 2 screws.

    3. A01HXFA

      Disengage the guide and claw to remove the rear bumper side seal RH.

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER


    1. A01I1VS

      Disengage the 2 guides to remove the rear bumper energy absorber.

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01I0XO

      Remove the 6 nuts and rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.
