HORN INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY (w/o Side Turn Signal Light)

      Component without harness connected

      (High Pitched Horn Assembly)

      Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the horn according to the table below.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal A4-1

      Battery negative (-) → Body ground

      		 Horn sounds

      If the result is not as specified, replace the high pitched horn assembly.

  2. INSPECT LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY (w/o Side Turn Signal Light)

      (Low Pitched Horn Assembly)

      Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the horn according to the table below.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal A1-1

      Battery negative (-) → Body ground

      		 Horn sounds

      If the result is not as specified, replace the low pitched horn assembly.

  3. INSPECT LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY (w/ Side Turn Signal Light)

  4. INSPECT SUPER LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY (w/ Side Turn Signal Light)

      If the result is not as specified, replace the super low pitched horn assembly.
