Note
When the luggage door hinge torsion bars are removed, their tension will be lost, causing the luggage door to slam close. Therefore, hold the luggage door securely when opening or closing it.
REMOVE NO. 3 INDOOR ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the connector.
Disengage the clamp and remove the No. 3 indoor electrical key antenna assembly.
Note
Be careful when removing the indoor electrical key antenna assembly. If the antenna is dropped, replace it with a new one.
REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR HINGE TORSION BAR RH
Disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.
Disconnect the luggage door hinge torsion bar RH from the luggage compartment door torsion bar support as shown in the illustration.
Using SST, disconnect the luggage door hinge torsion bar RH from the left side of the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.
Remove the luggage door hinge torsion bar RH from the right side luggage door hinge as shown in the illustration.
REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR HINGE TORSION BAR LH
Disconnect the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH from the luggage compartment door torsion bar support as shown in the illustration.
Using SST, disconnect the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH from the right side of the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.
Remove the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH from the left side luggage door hinge as shown in the illustration.
REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR TORSION BAR SUPPORT
Remove the luggage compartment door torsion bar support as shown in the illustration.
Note
Make sure to replace the luggage compartment door torsion bar support with a new one.
