ROOF HEADLINING INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (w/o Sliding Roof)

      Install the 2 clips to the roof headlining assembly.

    2. A01I0ZH

      Put the roof headlining assembly into the vehicle through the front door RH.

      Note

      Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or vehicle interior.

    3. Engage the 2 clips.

    4. Install the roof headlining assembly with the 2 clips.

    5. Engage the 4 clamps to the front pillar LH.

    6. Engage the 3 clamps to the front pillar RH.

    7. Connect the bracket with the bolt to the front pillar RH.

      Torque:
      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

    8. w/o Satellite Radio:


      1. Engage the 2 clamps and connect the connector to the rear pillar RH.

    9. w/ Satellite Radio:


      1. Engage the 2 clamps and connect the 2 connectors to the rear pillar RH.

    10. w/ Lane Departure Alert System:


      1. Connect the connector to the lane departure warning camera.

    11. w/ EC Mirror


      1. Connect the connector to the inner rear view mirror.

  2. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (w/ Sliding Roof)

      Install the 2 clips to the roof headlining assembly.

      Put the roof headlining assembly into the vehicle through the front door RH.

      Note

    3. Engage the 2 clips.

    4. Install the roof headlining assembly with the 2 clips.

    5. Engage the 4 clamps to the front pillar LH.

    6. Engage the 3 clamps to the front pillar RH.

    7. Connect the bracket with the bolt to the front pillar RH.

      Torque:
      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

    8. w/o Satellite Radio:


      1. Engage the 2 clamps and connect the connector to the rear pillar RH.

    9. w/ Satellite Radio:


      1. Engage the 2 clamps and connect the 2 connectors to the rear pillar RH.

    10. Connect the connector to the sliding roof drive gear assembly.

    11. w/ Lane Departure Alert System:


      1. Connect the connector to the lane departure warning camera.

    12. w/ EC Mirror


      1. Connect the connector to the inner rear view mirror.

  3. INSTALL VISOR HOLDER


    1. A01HYCA

      Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Push in the visor holder as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the other visor holder.

  4. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the visor assembly LH with the 2 screws.

  5. INSTALL VISOR BRACKET COVER (for LH Side)

      Engage the 4 claws to install the visor bracket cover.

  6. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL VISOR BRACKET COVER (for RH Side)

  8. INSTALL SLIDING ROOF OPENING TRIM MOULDING (w/ Sliding Roof)

      Align the alignment mark on the moulding with the notch of the roof headlining to install the sliding roof opening trim moulding.

      Note

      After installation, check that the corners fit correctly.

  9. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Put a assist grip sub-assembly together as shown in the illustration.

      Engage the 2 clips to install the assist grip sub-assembly.

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 assist grip covers

  10. INSTALL REAR ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY LH

      Put a rear assist grip assembly LH together as shown in the illustration.

      Engage the 2 clips to install the rear assist grip assembly LH.

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 assist grip covers

  12. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/o Sliding Roof)

      1. Engage the 2 claws to temporarily install the inner rear view mirror stay holder cover.

        Slide the inner rear view mirror stay holder cover as shown in the illustration and engage the 2 guides to install it.

  17. INSTALL NO. 1 LANE DEPARTURE WARNING CAMERA COVER (w/ Lane Departure Alert System)

      Engage the 2 guides and 2 clips as shown in the illustration to install the No. 1 lane departure warning camera cover.

  22. INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH LH


    1. Engage the guide.

    2. Engage the 5 clips to install the roof side inner garnish LH.

  23. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR UPPER GARNISH LH


    1. Pass the floor anchor of the front seat outer seat belt assembly LH through the center pillar upper garnish LH.

    2. Engage the clip.

    3. Install the center pillar upper garnish LH with the 2 screws.

  24. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH LH


    1. Engage the 2 claws and 3 clips to install the center pillar lower garnish LH.

  25. CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the floor anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    2. Check if the ELR locks.

      Note

      The check should be performed with the front seat outer belt assembly installed.


      1. With the belt assembly installed, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.

  26. INSTALL LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER (for LH Side)


    1. Engage the 3 claws to install the lap belt outer anchor cover.

  27. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

      Align the alignment mark (Pink) on the weatherstrip with the protruding portion on the body indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and install the rear door opening trim weatherstrip LH.

      Note

      After installation, check that the corners fit correctly.

  28. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH


    1. Engage the 6 claws to install the rear door scuff plate LH.

      Tech Tips

      Engage the claws from the rear side of the scuff plate.

  29. INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  30. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR UPPER GARNISH RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  31. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH RH

  35. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  36. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Engage the hook.

    2. Install the rear side seatback assembly RH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

    3. Connect the connector.

    4. Connect the rear seat outer belt to the rear seat shoulder belt guide.

  37. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Engage the hook.

    2. Install the rear side seatback assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

    3. Connect the connector.

    4. Connect the rear seat outer belt to the rear seat shoulder belt guide.

  38. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Place the rear seatback assembly RH in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. Install the rear seatback assembly RH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  39. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Place the rear seatback assembly LH in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. Install the rear seatback assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  40. INSTALL INNER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PAD


    1. Install the inner luggage compartment trim pad.

  41. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK

      Engage the claw to install a new rear seat cushion lock hook.

      Note

      Rear seat cushion lock hooks must not be reused.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side.

  42. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY


    1. Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

      Engage the 2 hooks of the seat cushion to the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.

    3. Confirm that the seat cushion is firmly installed.

      Note

      When installing the seat cushion, make sure that the seat belt buckles are not under the seat cushion.

  43. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH


    1. Remove the protective cover.

    2. Make sure that the front pillar garnish clip is not damaged.

      Note

      If there is any damage, replace the garnish clip with a new one.

      Install the front pillar garnish clip to front pillar garnish LH.

      Tech Tips

      Install the front pillar garnish clip so that it faces as shown in the illustration.

    4. Engage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

      Engage the 2 clips to install the front pillar garnish LH.

  44. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
