  1. INSPECT DOOR CONTROL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Door Control Switch Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      4 (L) - 5 (E) Lock side of door control switch pushed Below 1 Ω
      4 (L) - 5 (E) Lock side of door control switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
      2 (UL) - 5 (E) Unlock side of door control switch pushed Below 1 Ω
      2 (UL) - 5 (E) Unlock side of door control switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the door control switch assembly.

    2. Check the LED illuminates.

        (Door Control Switch Assembly)

        Apply battery voltage to the door control switch assembly and check that the LED illuminates.

        Standard
        Battery Connection Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (ILL-)

        		 LED illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the door control switch assembly.
