DESCRIPTION

When an incorrect ECM or an incorrect brake actuator assembly is installed after the assist map has been recorded in the power steering ECU assembly, then DTC C1582 is stored because the data does not match the vehicle specifications.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)


    1. Using the Techstream, check for DTCs and confirm that there are no problems in the CAN communication system Click here.

      OK
      DTC is not output.

    NG

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  2. CHECK ECM


    1. Check if the correct ECM is installed.

      OK

    NG

    REPLACE ECM Click here

  3. CHECK BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Check if the correct brake actuator assembly is installed.
