DESCRIPTION
The IDs of each tire pressure warning valve and transmitter are registered to the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver.
When the ECU detects that a transmitter ID code is not registered in the ECU, a DTC is stored.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
Note
When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver, read the transmitter IDs stored in the old ECU using the Techstream and write them down before removal.

w/o Tire Inflation Pressure Display Function:

When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver on vehicles equipped with the wireless door lock control system (w/o smart key system), be sure to perform Registration of Recognition Code to register the transmitter IDs after ECU replacement Click here.
PROCEDURE
CONFIRM REGISTRATION CONDITION (REGISTERED ID CODES)
Turn the ignition switch off.
Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the Techstream on.
Enter the following menus: Chassis / Tire Pressure Monitor / Data List.
Check the values by referring to the table below.

Tech Tips
*: It may take a few minutes until the values are displayed.
When no "ID Tire Inflation Pressure" data has changed, reset the tire pressure to the appropriate specified value and rotate the tire 90 to 270 degrees. Then rapidly release the tire pressure and recheck the data.
