DESCRIPTION
The lane departure warning camera monitors its internal condition. When an internal malfunction is detected, the lane departure warning camera stores DTC U1000 and cancels lane departure alert system control.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
Note
When the lane departure warning camera is replaced with a new one, adjustment of the lane departure warning camera axis must be performed Click here.
When replacing the lane departure warning camera, always replace it with a new one. If a lane departure warning camera which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the lane departure warning camera will not match the information from the vehicle. As a result, a DTC may be stored.
PROCEDURE
CHECK FOR DTCs (HEALTH CHECK)
Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the Techstream on.
Enter the following menus: System Select / Health Check.
Check for DTCs.
