DESCRIPTION
The lane departure warning camera receives vehicle speed signals from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) via CAN communication to control the lane departure alert system. When the lane departure warning camera receives information that there is a malfunction in the vehicle speed sensor, DTC C1AA3 is stored.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
Note
When the lane departure warning camera is replaced with a new one, adjustment of the lane departure warning camera axis must be performed Click here.
When replacing the lane departure warning camera, always replace it with a new one. If a lane departure warning camera which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the lane departure warning camera will not match the information from the vehicle. As a result, a DTC may be stored.
PROCEDURE
CHECK FOR DTCs (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM)
Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the Techstream on.
Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Trouble Codes.
Check for DTCs Click here.

Clear the DTCs Click here.
Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.
